LGGS would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Gediminas Indreika who sent us the program cover that included the listing of the graduating class of 1957 (June 9) from Saint George School, Saint George Church in Chicago, IL (Pastor - RT. Rev. Msgr. Boleslovas Urba). The full listing of boys and girls can be found in the following database. Additionally, the photo shown above and HERE (966 KB) is from the May 1952 Communion at St. George. Most of the children listed in the graduating class of 1957 should be in this photo. Please note that in most cases, the first names of the children are listed in the program under their Christian first names (given first names are in parenthesis). If you can identify any of the children in the photo, please send an email tohelp@lithuaniangenealogy.org with the name of the child, the row number and position in the row. For example: (Dalia) Emilia Indreika, Third Row, Fifth from Left If you would like to share similar pictures or information on another
church, school, etc... ".chr($x).""; else echo "".chr($x)." "; } echo "Original View"; $letter = $_GET["letter"]; if (isset($letter)) { $qrySurname = "SELECT * FROM st_george_grad WHERE surname LIKE '$letter%' ORDER BY surname"; } else { $qrySurname = "SELECT * FROM st_george_grad ORDER BY surname"; } $result = mysql_query($qrySurname); $num_rows = mysql_num_rows($result); echo " (Total Number of Records in Database: $num_rows) "; //Need to know the number of rows, so use this line $num_rows = mysql_num_rows($result); //Set a new variable called $rows $rows = ceil($num_rows / $columns); //For this vertical display, need to run another loop, which will populate an array with our values while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { $surname[] = $row['surname']; $christian[] = $row['christian']; $attendance[] = $row['attendance']; } echo "
